For the final of this class, we were required to record a cover of any song that we wanted either using MIDI, our own instruments, or a mixture of both. I chose to do a cover of the song Imperium by Ghost which involved recording multiple electric and acoustic guitar tracks. I also added MIDI instruments such as horns and strings to bring out the texture of the original piece. I hadn't taken any classes about mixing, so there isn't much in that department, but this was the first major project I had in any class that involved recording an entire piece by ourselves!
